R C Puram is a second hand cum wholesale market hidden away in the centre of Bangalore. Second hand fabric is collected, sorted and disassembled here - or sold at throw away prices. Things like buttons zippers and labels are preserved and sold separately.
Apart from that - it is a huge wholesale market for various fabrics (mainly cottons) which is sold by weight at incredibly favourable prices!
I walked around observing the market and also stocked up on a load of buttons zippers and fabric which i could possibly use in the course of this project.
